uCity Square’s Holiday Fest Brings Warmth, Music, and Community Together
uCity Square wrapped up the season with its 4th annual Holiday Fest, and the 2025 edition was our brightest and coziest yet. More than 80 neighbors, partners, families, and friends gathered at The Lawn to celebrate the holidays with an evening full of warmth, music, and community.
Guests enjoyed free activities throughout the park, from gathering around fire pits for s’mores to warming up with hot chocolate and hot cider. The uCity Square Beer Garden popped up, added to the festive feel, while live acappella music from the Parson Brown Singers set the perfect holiday soundtrack. Kids and adults alike loved the mini pony petting zoo by Pegasus Riding, hands on mask making crafts led by Cassies Craft Coven, and a visit from Chocolate Santa that kept smiles coming all night.
One of the highlights of the event was the tree lighting ceremony – West Philly’s only one! – made extra special with the help of Councilmember Jamie Gauthier, who joined us to officially light the tree and help kick off the holiday season in true neighborhood style.
Holiday Fest continues to be one of our favorite traditions at uCity Square, bringing together the community with a little bit of winter magic. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us! If you captured any photos from the event, we would love to see them; please tag us on social media @ucitysquare.
From all of us at uCity Square, we wish you a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season.
