The Monell Chemical Senses Center has signed a 64,000-square-foot lease to relocate to One uCity Square in University City, a deal that significantly upgrades its space and ushers in a new era for the center.

With the 20-year lease, Monell is set to relocate from its longtime home at 3500 Market St. to 25 N. 38th St., less than a half-mile away. The new facility is planned to open in early 2027.
