Event venues at uCity Square are owned and operated by different organizations. Pricing, availability, and approvals are up to the sole discretion of each venue. Please inquire directly for more information.
The Lawn
The Lawn is an outdoor space designed for events and relaxation, accessible to everyone, and easy to reserve for private occasions.
Located at the corner of 37th and Cuthbert, this 1-acre public space features green areas, comfortable seating, and bleachers, making it perfect for gatherings of 2 to 300 people. The Lawn can also be easily combined with The Square, located across the street, to accommodate larger events. Additionally, food trucks are welcome to park in The Lawn area, providing food and catering options for any occasion.
uCity Square Beer Garden
The uCity Square Beer Garden is a seasonal pop-up bar located at The Lawn. The Beer Garden, operated by Two Locals Brewing Company, can be reserved privately or made available outside of normal operating hours and offers flexible drink options suited for your event.
Your choice of catering or food trucks are welcome to operate at the uCity Square Beer Garden.
The Square
The Square is uCity Square’s newest green space located at 37th & Cuthbert. This 1-acre park offers limited seating, and is adjacent to Ascendance, an iconic public art canopy. The Square is ideal for events and gatherings from 2 to 300 people and can be combined with The Lawn across the street.
Quorum
Quorum, powered by the University City Science Center, offers 15,000 square feet of natural light-filled space featuring six distinct meeting and event spaces varying in size as well as large breakout and pre-function spaces. No matter what your event or meeting, from 2 to 300 people, Quorum has a space that meets your needs and the staff to bring your vision to life.
CIC Philadelphia
Host your event or bring your team together in a thriving hub of innovation. CIC’s Philadelphia location puts you right in University City.

Two Locals Brewing Company
Looking for the perfect indoor venue for your next celebration? Two Locals offers a unique, vibrant atmosphere with handcrafted beer, local wine, thoughtful cocktails, and food by Liberty Kitchen West. From birthdays to corporate gatherings, weddings, and everything in between, Two Locals’ space is the ideal backdrop for your special occasion for up to approximately 150 people.
Innovation Plaza
Innovation Plaza is an open air, outdoor event space that can accommodate a variety of needs from vendor fairs, to dinners, to more casual celebrations for 50 to 200+ people.
