New Art Installation Unveiling & Dedication
uCity Square, in collaboration with Mural Arts Philadelphia and led by Studio Cooke John Architecture and Design, will unveil and dedicate a new, permanent art installation, located at The Square (37th & Cuthbert Streets).
This immersive, multi-sensory canopy was designed incorporating the community’s voices and encourages a sense of connection and belonging. Central to this project is a unique soundscape curated by Nina Cooke John and project collaborator Yolanda Wisher with a score composed by Kendrah Butler-Waters.
Join us for the unveiling and dedication, which will include brief remarks from partners, artists, and collaborators, and activities, refreshments, and more for the whole community. Event is free and open to the public but pre-registration is required.
