Explore the World of Wild Bees
October 8 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
uCity Square has welcomed some new neighbors to the community: bees!
Through a new partnership with Alvéole, uCity Square is supporting urban biodiversity while creating opportunities for our community to get a closer look at the important role bees and other pollinators play in our environment.
This presentation-style workshop provides an eye-opening deep dive into the wild pollinators that power our food system. Bumble bees, carpenters, masons, leafcutters: get to know the hundreds of lovable wild bees who share our cities!
Join us to discover how wild bee homes provide nesting habitats and learn how to grow a pollinator garden, beginning with a hands-on activity to create your own bee-friendly seed mix!
